Switching your pet to Go! Or Now Fresh products
Its important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at a minimum, ten days and could take upwards of two weeks, depending on your pets sensitivity to change:
- On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for two or more days.
- Next, increase the ration to 20% new food / 80% old food for two or more days.
- Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until your feeding 100% of the new food.
If your pet experiences and kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally ocurring bacteria in your pets body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience and vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I have thought for some time my older much loved Bichon Frise x was allergic to grains in dog products due to excessive licking and scratching, especially on his paws. I surfed the 'net' and found Pet.co.nz and they had grain free biscuits suitable for senior dogs. The best thing I could have done as their service is second to none, and as far as delivery goes, it was amazing. I ordered the product on a Monday and it was at my front door Tuesday morning. So whats so amazing about that you might ask. I will tell you. Pet.co.nz is based in Auckland and I live in Timaru in the South Island. Way way better service than living locally. Keep up the good work Pet.co.nz, you have guranteed customers with me and the dog!! The product works brilliantly. Karen. South Island.

My wee 11yr old bichon frise/ maltese is a girl that knows what she likes. As soon as I opened the box she was licking the packet! So far they haven't upset her tummy and she is still very excited to eat everyday.

I decided to try this food with a dog who had a bad bout of pancreatitis, wanting a grain free diet that had lower protein and fat than most other grain free kibbles. 2 months later and the dog is doing great. No more health problems, he is nearly 10 years old and back to playing like a puppy, He is happier and brighter than he has been in months.

Yes, I'd recommend this product to a friend
