Inappropriate levels of fat in the blood, inability to digest protein, or lack of digestive enzymes produced by the body can affect your dog's digestive health. Efficient digestion is essential for your dog to be able to build and repair tissues and obtain energy, and for these reasons it is important to feed a food that is formulated to help support digestive health. While I recommend it you should only feed this to a dog with a digestive problem and you've been told to feed this by your VET. This was recommended by my vet when Samson was about 12 weeks old because he was showing signs of being allergic to the food he was eating. He is now growing and gaining weight with no more issues with upset tummy through food.
